Haha Not much I know but whatever... You can also see all the "marginals" or the doodling I do in the blank space around the live area of the page. Just whatever is crossing my mind, like odd thoughts, other people's work or ideas for new stories. Like the Nosferatu. I loathe sissy vampires. (with certain and very particular exceptions!) That silent movie Nosferatu is still one of the creepiest movies I have ever seen. Seriously!!!

So... I am a horrible modeler I have no idea what I am doing!!! I spend more time feeling stressed out by it than doing anything else. BUT I made something useful to me. Ugly as all hell but useful!! Thank you Maya!

Behold! A model of Nony's shop! All the extra bits are just... ugly sure but also framing things I couldn't sort out before. And the good news is I didn't have to model it out of foamcore! <3

Damned Backgrounds

Driving me nuts... but I will have a couple of pages pencilled soon - the inking should go pretty fast. I am going to try something different with the coloring (maybe). I know I tend to overthink everything when it comes to comics. I can't be happy with just shitting them out I suppose - If I was I would only do my shitty strips.

But work proceeds on the comic. Well at times. I am also trying to expand the old GD portfolio. One of which was making in 20 min an official looking form for my brother to hand out to his students. I had to make a logo and a form based on a government agency in a book I never had to read.

Life's funny.

I still hate drawing backgrounds. But I'm always pushing myself with them. It's nice to draw and be bookended by my cats. Especially so I can keep an eye on China who is doing better. Not awesome because - well hard to be awesome with cancer. But she is doing really good all things considered. I am thinking cancer needs to piss off and leave what I have left alone.

I'm pleased with the comic though. I think if I can color it like how I hope to it will look sharp! Stupid me always wanting things to look a certain way and not the same way all the time. Then I would have it so much better just working all the time to perfect one way of doing things.
